  1. Every income-eligible Californian qualifies for full-scope Medi-Cal — regardless of age or immigration status (since Jan 2024).
  2. Call Covered California free at 1-800-300-1506 or apply at coveredca.com.
  3. Prefer in person? Certified enrollers work in your county and your language.

Get care

  1. Pick or change your Medi-Cal plan: Health Care Options 1-800-430-4263.
  2. Dental is covered — find a dentist through Smile California.
  3. In crisis, call or text 988 — free, confidential, in your language, any hour.

Renew coverage

  1. Keep your address current with your county office so the renewal letter reaches you.
  2. When the letter comes, act promptly — online at benefitscal.com, by phone, mail, or in person.
  3. Renewal is always free. Gather: ID, proof of income, proof of address.
